East Brunswick is sorely lacking non-chain bars and restaurants. That almost makes Gusto Grill the town champion by default. However, Gusto earns their 5 stars by featuring a fantastic craft beer selection (and a huge wine list), as well as specialty cocktails crafted by an awesome bar staff. Add a very good menu, including appetizers and flatbreads that are as good as many meals, and Gusto is hard to beat. Judging by the early crowd on a recent Saturday, I'm guessing many in this town feel the same way. 5 well earned stars.

I'm so glad my wife and I decided to pull in. Everything we tried was fantastic. We also had a couple of drinks at the bar and the bartenders were very knowledgeable and attentive. Great drink list and a nice selection of brews.

Outstanding as usual. Menu changes with the time of year. The selections are always phenomenal. Bring your best bottle of wine and enjoy. Save room for the desert and the homemade ice cream.

The food here is simple and elegant, the service is phenomenal, and the ambiance is luxurious. This restaurant is a go-to for any special events with my family when we're down the shore. And remember, it's BYO!

The food was good and the service was decent. I tried the crab cakes and the short ribs. Both were quite good on a busy Saturday night. It was a bit chilly in the dining room but it was bitter cold outside and ceilings are high.
