Great find for our fur family. We found Dr. Mark in an emergency situation with one of our older cats who got sick after a FVRCP vaccine at another vet. We thought we were going to lose our cat, as he had stopped eating and drinking. Dr. Mark was great at helping us nurse him back to health. This was also over Thanksgiving holiday, and he spent time checking with us to see how our cat was doing. Our cat is fine now, and we have now switched all our pets to be in his care. The office staff is polite and responsive, and added bonus the facility is beautiful, clean, and has plenty of parking.

Immaculate office coupled with an amazingly friendly staff and knowledgeable veterinarian makes this vet the place to take all of your furbabies. Prices are comparable to surrounding vets.

Incredibly poor experience — after reading some of these reviews I hope this was a genuine mistake and not a shady business ethics like it so seemed. I adopted my dog in August from lifeline animal services. It became clear that she developed kennel cough while in the shelter. I brought my pup in along with her papers that included very clearly that she tested negative for heart worms which I indicated. After 15 seconds on the stethoscope the Dr claimed she was “riddled” with heart worms and needed X-rays, picked her up took her out the door before I could say a word. He came back with an antibiotic and $400 bill — 150 of which was for the X-ray (which was supposedly a huge discount — mentioned several times) I was told to monitor once the antibiotics were done and shocker — no cough. I am hesitant to go back as I feel like misdiagnoses leading to exorbant charges will happen again.

We love Dr. Mark and the staff at Buckhaven. We've been taking our dog here for two years now, and even though we now live over 30 minutes away, would never even think about changing vets. Buckhaven has always taken great care of our dog, and the techs make it a point to remember his name when we come in. We had an instance a couple of months ago where I was concerned about our dog losing weight, and instead of brushing my concerns off, Dr. Mark took the time to talk to me about potential causes, and when I insisted, went ahead and did some additional tests to rule anything major out. Better yet, the prices are fair - much more in line with the prices I've seen in small Midwest vets than others in the Buckhead area.

I'm thrilled I found such a wonderful place. They took such good care of my baby during his surgery. What an amazing staff and experience! We will not go anywhere else now!
