Booked a compact car and fuel economy efficient car weeks before we arrived and there were none. They instead gave them all away and insisted we get an SUV. Girl had an attitude and had no desire to help with the situation. What’s the point of reserving a car if you end up not getting the car you reserved? Would advice to go further south to a budget if you really want to rent from budget.

Haha amazing fast speedy quick checkout with being a FastBreak Member. I flashed my license as per the website said I'd need to do, a few initials and the keys were in my hand. Less than 5 minutes. Budget has always made renting a car super easy and even easier on the wallet. AAA+++

I booked a car rental and when I arrived I was not aware that I had to have a major credit card and I only had my debit visa with me. They then did a credit check which I have never heard of from a car rental company and denied me. Mind you I have a very successful career and live in DeBary. Divorces mess up credit. Life happens.  It’s literally 50° outside and I called enterprise and they are coming to pick me up right now and they said that it would not be a problem with me having a debit visa and I will be taking my business to Enterprise Rent-A-Car today.

The company that I work for has a business account with Budget. We have had multiple issues when picking up reservations from Budget. Today we had reservations to pick up a rental between 7:45 am - 8:00 am however their were multiple accidents which caused delays. I called Budget's Orange City location at 8:11 am and was transferred to their general number as no associate picked up. I finally reached a representative and let them know that I was running late due to traffic. The man I was speaking to advised that I could pick up the vehicle any time during their operating hours which was 7:30 am to 6:00 PM. Considering this I went into work in order to get some reports out by the deadlines I had. When I arrived at the Orange City location I was VERY rudely advised that I had missed my appointment. I informed the women that I had called in to let them know I was running late and was told I could pick up anytime of the day of the reservation. She advised me that was not the case at this location because their fleet is too small. I was further advised that they had two cars but three reservations (not including mine). The women said that there was another car that is supposed to come within the next 2 hours. That they were also waiting for a delivery from the airport. She took my phone number and told me that she would call me within the next two hours to let me know when my car was available. I never received a phone call. I called budget at 4:00 PM to see what the status was. On the third phone call to them I finally asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor was extremely rude and told me that I should have changed the reservation time. I informed them again that I had contacted them over the phone. That their employee gave the wrong information and they are the one that should have changed the reservation time. The supervisor again told me that I should have changed the time online. I explained that this is a company account and I did not have this capability. She asked if I would like to pick up a car from another location. I said yes. Meanwhile my husband had left to pick up our daughter from daycare so that we would have time to pick up the vehicle.  The supervision then advised that we could pick up a vehicle from the Weston in Lake Mary - WHICH IS NEXT TO MY DUAGHTER'S DAYCARE! I was even more upset now knowing how much time we have wasted on this and we could have "killed two birds with one stone." She then advised that we could pick up a vehicle from the Sanford Airport which is closer to orange city. I said fine after he picks up my daughter and returns to the office that would be the closet location. She then informed me that the reservation would now be $912.60! The original reservation was $600.00! according to my associate who handles this reservations. After informing the supervision about how upset I was and that we are now considering moving our business account she continued to be rude. I asked her to cancel the reservation. Which is then when she asked me if I would like to cancel the reservation which is what I just told her that I wanted to do. Needless to say I will NEVER use Budget for ANY of my personal rentals. My company will also be moving their business account.
