This place is a great state park. Good for fishing, sports, biking, etc. I spend a lot of time here. Even in the winter. The park is always clean & safe. It has several different trails that connects to the bigger Arkansas River Trail. Outdoor enthusiasts would love this place.

This park is an absolutely beautiful and large park.  It offers places for soccer games as well as baseball games for both children and adults. The park is very well maintained and cleaned.  There are playground areas for the children and beautiful bike trails as well. Offers beautiful scenery and also has a golf course for people who like to play golf. I love this park and honestly believe it's the best park that Central Arkansas has to offer. Would highly recommend this park to anyone who is looking for some relaxing and fun times outdoors.

We have been going here for years, by far the best we have found. This is a super nice park. Very clean and well maintained. Pet friendly as long as you scoop your poop. Quite a few playgrounds, if you don't like one there move to another all have different pros and cons. Plus, covered pic nic area with electricity so you can charge your phone or work on your laptop.

Not only is it one of the biggest parks in the US but definitely one of the best in our area. Lots of options for family fun whether it's after hours on weekdays or weekend soccer games or BMX. Walking trails basketball courts, playgrounds you name it it's there. Close to the Riverside is the majority of the soccer fields and north of I-40 you have mainly baseball. My personal favorite is disc golf and they definitely have a great course here if you haven't tried it it's worth playing all 18 on the red and blue courses.
