Cute, dated place. Opened in 1970 it says. It would appear that was the last time the owners put any money back into it. Hot turkey sandwich was sliced turkey loaf and coagulated spiced turkey gravy. Waitress was great though. Service was quick.

Will never come here again. Overpriced unflavored food. I ordered the T-bone steak meal. it was paper thin and surprisingly had almost no flavor, I was blown away. my dinner roll was dry and hard/crunchy as if had been sitting uncovered all day. The customer service was terrible. taking my order was a 3 minute 3 part series of walking away from me to do something else before I was finished telling her what I wanted. Not to mention the lack of hand washing and licking food off of fingers while still preparing it. The only thing I did like was the side of mashed potatoes and green beans which did have good flavor.

Quiet little home town restaurant with home style cooking, not greasy, with the best damned pecan pie I have ever had. Eat here all the time. Not pricey, just stop in and be seated. Never had to wait even once.

We have been here before for breakfast and it was an amazing experience. We got to the restaurant at 6:30 pm and it took them about 20 minutes to get us drinks. Then another 20 to take our order. When they did take our order they were out of all the different types of gravies. When we finally got our food the waitress took forever to get drink refills. The waitress that took our order and then came to tell us they were out of sausage gravy was never seen again. The other waitress did her best but that was just less than ideal. This was the worst experience I've ever had here.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon. Our visit was absolutely fantastic! A+ food & service! Home cooking as it should taste! Next time we are in the area we will definitely return.
