Butera Market is a family-owned full-service supermarket. Founded in 1968, Butera Finer Foods, now known as Butera Market, has been and continues to be Chicagoland's low price leader.

ok.. geuss if you're Hispanic..but sorely lacking in Quality meats and brand names that you find most grocery stores in the area..Other Butera Stores have better service and better selection of items other than Hispanic..they obviously want to attract Hispanics , which is great fo them..but I find the selection and service could be improved..mostly shop the deli at this location and my English is sometimes a barrier ... sigh

The meat was a great price but tough and tasteless. Completely disappointed at this location. Not like the one in Palatine.

I am not sure what the review before mine is talking about. I am as white as they come and I am always treated with respect, and usually even a smile. If you have issues with race at this store, the issue is mostly likely your own. I have to agree with them though that the store is a bit dark and undesirable at night, but I have never had any issues from anyone in the past 3 years, but I am hardier then the average person. Besides that the produce, meat, fish, deli, and frozen foods are usually good quality for the price. If you are buying anything else you will likely pay a premium for convenience. If you want a fancy store go to Jewel, or whole foods. If you want good prices and convenience come here.
