The issue here is that the kosher community is over a barrel. I called a week before Thanksgiving to order a birthday cake and was told birthday cake orders should be placed only a day or two before. So I called the day before Thanksgiving and they told me they couldn't take anymore orders for Thanksgiving. Most of their products are quite good, and like other comments, I and my friends have had cakes delivered with the wrong name or decorations. They are good when they get it right and they're closest competition is 10 miles away, so we're stuck. The unfortunate thing is that the owners know it.

Omg, like days gone bye, old time real Jewish bakery, with great prices compared to nyc, the cakes are delicious, the challah from heaven..

My father would buy shadow layer cakes there during the fifties . I moved away and recently came back after more than fifty years . The shadow layer cake is still excellent .
