I had a Mickey mouse cake made for my granddaughter. It was spot on . Not only that it was amazing. The people were wonderful. Everyone raved how beautiful it was and it was so delicious. I will definitely be back.

We just celebrated our daughter's first Birthday and we ordered a princess vanilla cake with a raspberry cream from this place. They were the closest bakery from the restaurant so I made the order by phone and emailed the desired design picture. We did not expect much, we just needed a big cake for 60 guests. The cake turned out to be GREAT!! It tasted amazing!! It was delivered on time, looked so beautiful with the gourges tiara topper. just perfect! We couldn't be happier!! Thank you Sugar Flake for making our daughter's birthday special!! Highly recommended :))

Horrible customer service. Hard to get anyone to pick up the phone after 5pm. Donna (apparently the Manager) is in charge of emails at the bakery, but it doesn't seem like she sends out more than one email a day, thus delaying any process of a getting an order in on time. I had a tight window of ordering a cake and when I asked if what I wanted was possible within that short period of time, I received an email asking to 'send a picture of the cake'...umm a cake that doesn't exist? to a bakery? ok, did that (I pulled some inspirations pictures together). Didn't receive a reply, and when I followed up, the answer I got was that there wasn't enough time and 'sorry we couldn't help you'. So, I replied and asked if we can simplify the cake to expedite the process and, of course, didn't even get a reply. Followed up, and still no reply once again. This is a Manager? Never did she give ANY suggestion of what we could do to make me, the customer, satisfied. Didn't even bother to tell me what they had in store that I could purchase.  I was also hoping to possibly make a second order for the following week, but since Donna never bothered to answer, I took my business to a different bakery that is now my new favorite one. I'm not going to force any business to take my money. I've had cake from SugarFlake before and I liked it, but this appalling customer service was enough to make me never come back.

If you want traditional baked goods, this is not the place. They resist making cinnamon crullers no matter how many times people request them! They sell out when they do make them and yet they still won't make them unless you pester them. Patronize another bakery!! They don't care about tradition or the old Mazurs' customers.
