This is a very small, thus very busy Amtrak / MARC train station. Signage in the BWI Airport was adequate to find the shuttle to the station. So many people and not enough seating. Luckily the weather was nice today and waiting outside was an option.

I gotta say, not bad - I live in Northern Virginia and always take BWI when flying as it's cheaper. The Amtrack, at any hour, is available and there is a free shuttle the last leg to the airport. The WiFi never works of course, but it's comfortable, effective and quick. Just remember when taking back to DC, the shuttle from the airport is on floor #1 not #2.

The gentleman who sold us the tickets at the counter was extremely helpful!! He was patient and understanding with us, not pushing us aside as soon as we had completed the transaction. I really enjoy service like this. The station itself could use -- SOMETHING(!!) Anything, really. A food kiosk, a newsstand...anything. As many people as come through BWI and get on trains, it would stand to reason that they could put something here. Just an idea....

The clerk Mike was absolutely rude!!!! We saw on his face he was angry. The three of us waited in a line for a few minutes and when it was our turn, my husband approached the counter but Mike was very rude and rejected him and asked the lady behind us to come first?!? We tried to explain to him we were in front of her,why is he calling her, and he didn't want to talk to us! We let the lady finish, and when it was our turn,our cousin went first, and he told my husband he needs to go to a counter next to him, despite the fact people were there. My husband said he wanted to buy a ticket from him, not wait again. Mike started to be very rude and he told us one ticket to Washington DC Union Station was about $60, which is impossible, since we paid $16 yesterday. We told him that, but he was very short and rude. We just decided to leave and take Uber. This was very stressful and disappointing! I hope his manager will read this and do something to prevent this happen again. It happened on September 11, 2017 around 11 am.
