Been coming here for a couple years and decided to say that the wait times are bit on the long side. The average wait time for a clinic in the United States is around 22 minutes which is something I take into account. Here it's more like 45-70 minutes in my experience even for something simple like a shot. The staff themselves are fine. I guess you just get what you pay for.

I have had multiple interactions with this place and nearly all have been negative. I went to the counseling center my first year at school and was diagnosed with OCD and depression. They referred me to the health center where I was assigned a PA. Not a doctor, a PA. For OCD and Depression. He gave me the highest dose of antidepressants that there were and it completely ruined my life. I failed that semester and turns out the diagnosis and the medication were both wrong. Fast forward to last week (I’m a senior now). I recently got kicked off my parent’s health insurance and was therefore forced to pay the school $500 per semester for their not-really-full health insurance (that doesn’t cover my medication by the way so it’s almost completely pointless). Last week I slipped on ice and I am sure I bruised my tailbone. I have been in a lot of pain. I called them the day after it happened (Friday) and was told they didn’t have any appointments until Tuesday. They let me talk to a nurse, but it was very clear to me that this nurse just didn’t have the time for me at all. She basically told me “sorry there’s nothing I can do because you don’t have any appointment, ice it and take some pain meds”. I didn’t make an appointment because I was hoping that it would get better (how bad could a bruise be, right?). Well today it is just as painful as it was the first day. I attempted to make another appointment today (Wednesday) only to be told that they don’t have an available appointment until Monday. FIVE DAYS AWAY. Meanwhile I am in so much pain I find it difficult to move. What am I paying $500 for? They don’t cover my medication and you can’t get an appointment for something I consider urgent for days at a time! If you’re going to force students who can’t afford it to pay that much money then you had better have enough staff to make it so your wait times aren’t awful! But then again, I would just be treated like a sheep anyway. The point of the student health center is to get you in and out as quickly as possible because they have other things to do. They’re all really nice, but the disregard for patients as individuals is kind of appalling. I hate that I am forced to pay for this lousy service and I can’t wait to graduate so I can find a clinic that will actually see me when I have an urgent problem.

i'm Canadian, so i'm known also as "international" so it's either I have to pay $500 every semester for coverage, or get my own private insurance. I have made a private insurance myself, and it's free! so definitely worth to make a private insurance for every international students! however, I love this school, I use the health center a lot because I get injured everywhere.... ya. i'm trouble maker. However, What they did to me... was literally nothing. If I sprained my arm, all they can say put an ice, hurt my leg, they say don't use too much of that injured leg etc, they really don't do much anything unless it's broken. Anyhow.... last time I checked in, apparently they didn't had my private insurance coverage... so I have to pay more than $10 (check in) which is $125... for some reason... so ya... even though I hurt myself, i'd rather go to near doctor located instead of the school one. SAVE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE~ it's expensive here~

If I could give zero stars I would. I went in because I had all the symptoms of strep throat. The doctor told me that she didn't think I had strep throat so she wasn't going to test for it. The test is in place because you cannot tell me without it if I do or do not have strep. Completely unprofessional! Never come here!
