I have known the owner, Mike Merrill, for almost 22 years. First became a customer of his at age 13, when the pharmacy was under the name of The Medicine Shoppe and was in a small building on the corner of Holmes and 2nd St. Even though the building was small and cramped with stuff everywhere, it still felt cozy. Mike and his staff always make you feel appreciated as a customer, not just a number in a database like at Wal-Mart or Walgreens. They know most customers and greet you by name, which is amazing as they have hundreds who come in. They also have fantastically shirt wait times compared to other pharmacies-usually under 20 minutes. I've waited at Walgreens for almost an hour for ONE prescription, only to be told they either don't have enough of the pills or that they are completely out of it-meaning I had to go to a different location to fill it. I've never run into that here, I've always been informed of any issues within 10 minutes. If it's due to them not having enough, they will give me what they have and I can usually pick up the remainder the next day after 10am-something that never happens at Walgreens. I've actually been told-at Walgreens-there that if I were to fill an rx with what they had on hand (pain medication) instead of going to a different location to fill it, I wouldn't be able to get the remainder as I would have to "forfeit" it. This was, according to them, per my insurance regulations-Medicaid- and they didn't have a choice in the matter. I had also been told I couldn't get any early refills, on non narcotic medications, unless it was only 1 day early-also "per Medicaid regulations. When I spoke to Mike's staff about those "regulations" I was informed that they were a bunch of b.s., which makes me wonder how they get away with it. 
   When Mike had his current building built, he was able to take on more staff and bring in some of the perks of technology-like a cell phone app, texting, and computer systems. He also has an awesome compounding lab with a big picture window where you can see them doing everything. 
  Hands down, this is THE BEST pharmacy in Idaho Falls and the surrounding area. I've referred dozens of friends and family here over the years and will continue to do so in the future.

They never have my prescription ready when they say it will be, you always have a long wait when you go to pick up you stuff, their automated system always screws my order up, they aren't open on Saturdays... not a fan!  The only reason I get my prescription filled here is because they are the only pharmacy in the area that can do compounds.   I have all other prescriptions filled else where!

They never have my order ready. You have to wait long time. Customer service they are not friendly and they seem like they don't know what they are doing.

I really like that I can call Mike's pharmacy and speak to someone who can answer all of my questions and do what they can to get what we need. Sometimes we even get to talk to Mike!  They have always been helpful with some complicated things.
