Awful experience. No work actually done. Got a quote on a house they built. One of the sons, forgot he gave me the quote. Then never submitted any paperwork after the quote was accepted.  At the time of the quote he said they could be out there in a couple of weeks. After 3 weeks of hearing nothing. I tracked him down and he told me that he had 10 houses ahead of mine and it would be "a while". Good for them that they are busy enough to bat away 8k and lose a 40 year record of service.

We are so thankful and grateful that we met Mr.Dave Allaire from CM Allaire & Sons and Real Log Home Co. while attending a Log Home Show a few years back. We had dreamed for years of building a log home, but never really thought it would ever happen! We finally found our "perfect" spot and purchased the land. We had a design in mind for many years, and w/Dave's expertise help, we tweaked it and revised it until it was just what we wanted!  Dave was sooo extremely patient w/us during the design and planning phase, I will never forget his kindness and professionalism and PATIENCE. This is a huge project to plan, but Dave's Co. had put up over 1,000 log homes, so we had so much confidence moving forward w/them. He even invited us to watch them begin erecting a new log home and that was it - the deal was sealed! My husband is a State Licensed Construction  Supvsr. and after watching them for hours that day, the construction crew got his stamp of approval! My husband is meticulous in all that he does - so for him to entrust them w/this massive project, they had to be the BEST! This month makes two years we have been in our Real Log Home and it truly has been a dream come true!  We couldn't have done this without Dave Allaire and his extremely professional crew. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'm attaching some pics of our dream home. Logs, windows and doors purchased through Mr.Dave Allaire's Co. and also log home and roof erected by CM Allaire and Sons. Words can't effectively express how much we think of this Co. - we feel like we have lifelong ties and friendship w/this wonderful gentleman! Best decision I ever made was to hire CM Allaire , quality and workmanship is second to none and it's a great local company that will carry out all the work from day one right to the finish. Thank you David  and the whole crew, we love our new log home!  Rod & Ellen Mansen
