My husband and I went to Cabela's in Sun Prairie, Wi. to purchase him boots. We asked a young man for help with sizes. We needed a 10 or 10 1/2 in a boot. He came back with a totally different color, and when I brought up the UPC number wasn't the same he assured me it was the same boot, but they fade on the shelf over time. He walked away and never came back to check if we need more help. We found boots on our own on the shelf. Pretty rude young man. My husband also purchased a hand gun, and that gentleman far exceeded our expectations and was extremely helpful. He was older and genuinely cared about helping us. The younger shoe man could take some lessons in communication and politeness.

High quality gear for all manner of outdoor activities, extremely helpful, friendly staff. All the stuffed animals are an entertaining bonus. Oddly they don't really have much snow gear.

Very nice store to look around in. I love seeing all the different mounts and animals on display in the store. They have a great selection of outdoor needs. They meet the needs of any level, new or veteran.

I was searching for a lost foster dog and stopped in numerous times for ideas, input, and help for equipment we purchased to tracked her for 6 nights in the Wisconsin cold. We bought a trail cam, heat scope, and infrared binoculars. They were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nice while I asked a million questions and periodically cried while doing so. I can't recommend them enough. Special shout out to Larry, Cody, and Julie, but everyone who helped me was fantastic! The dog was found and uninjured. Best possible outcome.

Good luck getting help trying to buy a firearm. By far the most understaffed and least eager to assist armory section I’ve ever seen at a big box retailer. Make sure you have at least an hour plus to buy a firearm here.
