It was a very comfortable and welcoming experience. This was my first visit to a gallery in Providence, and I did not know what to expect. I attended the opening of Allison Bianco's "A Curious Tide" at Cade Tompkins Projects. Ms. Tompkins greeted me at the door and welcomed me in. The staff was courteous and attentive. There was a large crowd, but the layout allowed room to explore without getting in the way of people taking in the art. There was a great spread of refreshments and hors d'oeuvres for the opening.  I will visit again for other exhibitions.
