Really liked it there. The food is organic and was done relatively fast. Staff was friendly. Came here for breakfast with my a sister, mother and a friend. I loved my drink of the day band. It was a lot of fun. I will go again. I would have given 5 stars but I found that my portion of potatoes was rather small, I had to order a refill which was about $3-$4 and it wasn't that much. But overall it's a good place.

Oh man, this place has the best food in town! If you are AT ALL health conscious or on any type of restricted diet, you are going to want to build a shrine to this restaurant, name your first born "Evergreen" and camp outside all night waiting for them to reopen and refeed you. The staff are lovely, kind, attentive and knowledgeable people, the prices are excellent considering the quality and extensive offerings, and the food is truly the freshest and most delicious I've had in a long time. I always get something different every time I go, and I've not once been disappointed. Everything is amazing, from the drinks to the desserts.

I love this place. It's a welcome breath of fresh air in the otherwise pretty predictable Venice restaurant scene. It's easy to find, clean and quite nice inside, with good friendly service. Tonight, we brought our two small dogs and ate outdoors, and the staff brought a dish of water for each dog without being asked. What really sets Cafe Evergreen apart, though, is the fresh, innovative menu. With many restaurants that offer vegetarian / vegan selections, you end up getting stripped down flavorless versions of common dishes. Exceptional restaurants, like this one, design delicious, original dishes that don't rely on the omitted meat or dairy for flavor. This is the mark of a first-rate chef. (Wannabees, take note!) The point is, if a restaurant can do delicious vegan, they will make delicious everything - and that's what to expect here, regardless what your diet preferences may be. If you want interesting, fresh, and delicious, check it out. We spent around $55 for an appetizer, entrees for two, and drinks. (Night owls be advised, though, they close early.) You'll love it - check it out!

I went to cafe evergreen because I was feeling under the weather and cafe evergreen has great items on the menu! It was my boyfriends first time and I was excited to share the experience! We came in and where greeted and seated! Our server was extremely nice and helpful with picking things off of the menu. Shortly after we ordered we where sitting minding our own business when one of the employees by the name Jillian came up to my table and started talking negatively to me and my boyfriend. I immediately got up and asked for the manager as Jillian continued to talk negatively to my boyfriend. I asked to speak to him outside. While speaking to him my boyfriend stayed inside. While he was inside still at our table Jillian continued to talk negatively and began to get other employees involved and caused a lot of negative attention in the restaurant and other customers attention. While I was speaking to the manager she came out there causing another scene and interrupted the conversation I was having with him. My boyfriend came outside shortly after and was ready to leave because at that point he no longer wanted to be in the environment especially when the management only said he was going to speak to her later. I am in the service industry and if I ever treated a customer with that much disrespect no matter the issue between someone and I, I would keep it professional and maybe pulled my manager to the side and explained the situation. Instead we where disrespected and nothing happen to the employee after she came up to us and initiated an altercation. I would have been fired on the spot especially if I was the aggressor and talked to someone that way with such disrespect to us and the business. Extremely unprofessional!

I love the food! Great selection of fresh foods ranging from juicy burgers to raw vegan staples. This place is consistently great with awesome service, unique dishes and fresh ingredients. I particularly love the vegan Reuben, the avocado sliders and the kale salad.
