The place was so small it was like shuffling around in a sardine can; the front door doesn't automatically shut so it stays ajar by half the crowd that is used to doors closing on their own. Unsuspecting customers are guaranteed to hit anyone sitting at the bar by the door. I watched a lady have the door slammed into her shoulder multiple times. The hot chocolate was 40% foam, a huge disappointment when we just went down to the diner and had a hot chocolate that was ten times better. If I wanted a cappuccino, I would have asked for that instead. The service was rude except for one really nice waitress, and everyone seemed rushed and annoyed because there was a crowd near closing time. I had this place rated a two because of all that, but my understanding is that it's a new place that probably just needs to work out some of these kinks. And the one thing that raises the bar was the chocolate bread which was one of the best pastries I've had in a long time. There's serious potential here but they're going to have to decide whether they want to be a full restaurant that actually serves multiple people with room for that or whether they just want to be a quieter, quaint little coffee shop, which is the smarter choice.

Great coffee. Italian speaking and pasteries. I saw food going out but not sure of that menu. Another good cafe on Church Street to visit and enjoy.

Heard a buzz from several friends about this newly opened place by the owners of Osteria Giotto in Montclair.
The eggplant Parmesan Panini was excellent... they make the own bread, was very fresh 
The soup was perfect  !
The meals were fresh, vibrant, and made to order. 
The pastries all had the delicate and delicious quality that only comes with being freshly baked.
Amazing food.... This place will be going to be a regular spot for our family, friends for sure ! and for my regular breakfast place !

Best egg sandwich! I think it was called Breakfast Buttered Roll. Delicious!
