A go to place for cafeteria style upscale food and decadent desserts. You order at the counter and find your own seats to sit down and eat. My favorite here are the raspberry creme torte cake, tres leches cake and cheesecake, as I like desserts that are less sweet. I find their chocolate cakes too sweet for my taste. The service can be hit or miss. When the lines are long the staff are not great at corralling people into an orderly line, making it hard to tell who came first. Also, they often run out on dessert favorites such as their raspberry cream torte cakes on high traffic nights. Pro tip: order two of the small half size cake/pie/torte slices they sell for $1.50 each. Its overall cheaper than a full $6 slice. They rotate their soup selections, with at least one vegetarian option available. The sandwiches and pizza are not worth what you pay for, in my opinion. The pizza is very average in flavor and the sandwiches are small but come with a side. Overall, I mostly come here for the desserts as they are consistently are high quality and tasty.

My friend and I tried Cafe Latte for the first time for my birthday. Firstly, service. When we walked in, there was a young lady behind the counter who saw us walked in but didn't greet us. She was on her phone and ignored us. Since it was our first time, we didn't know how to order or where to start ordering. We then went up to her and told her it was our first time there. She kindly and briefly explained it to us. Second, food. It was delicious! Loved it! The cake was amazing, I got the turkey guacamole sandwich with pickle on the side and a drink. My friend got the same sandwich with a pickle and a bag of chips on the side with a drink. Our total together was around $35. The price is reasonable for the quality of the food. I am a big cake person and I can say, Cafe Latte has one of the best cakes in the Twin Cities. Very good. If only the employee was more welcoming and actually took her time to explain the system to us, I would totally give this rating 5 stars, but since that wasn't the case, I'm only rating it 4 stars.

The food is really good and filling. The customers you were sitting by me and my family kept to themselves. Everyone at Cafe Latte seemed really Chill and nice. The prices are pretty good too. (The food I got that was really good was: The turkey guacamole sandwich w/ blue corn chips. A cup of the chicken harvest soup. Seriously would try both of these)

A cafeteria style restaurant with upscale food. You still have to stand in line, but you can get Creamy Hungarian Mushroom soup (they will give you a taste of any soup to help you decide!), choose from several types of rolls, and get any type of fancy coffee to go with it. As well as decadent gorgeous desserts! There are also salads and sandwiches made to order, and breads and cakes you can take home. In fact, it is all available for take out. Or you can get a whole pizza (that looked yummy!). The surroundings are a little spare, but sit upstairs or in the back room to be cozier. I hadn't been here in years (because I hate cafeterias!) but it was an excellent lunch!

The employees on the cafeteria line and cashier at the end needs to be happier. Food was good. The cappuccino they made was too sloppy. On the other hand, the cakes were good and the cashier for those slices of cakes were helpful. Nice atmosphere.
