About

The Happy Gnome does 2 things really well: Beer and Food. With 89 craft beers on tap and cuisine by Chef Scott Brink, we have something for everyone.

Story

The Happy Gnome is where you experience craft beer exploration and culinary adventure, together.

For over ten years, The Happy Gnome has pushed forward the craft beer scene, increasing our drafts lines to feature 89 taps. Our tap list is exclusively domestic craft and quality import, rotating through seasonal selections and maintaining some favorites.
Chef Scott Brink curates a seasonally-changing menu of eclectic American cuisine that is sure to please.
Promoting craft beer is also fun: every month we feature a different brewery, hosting a beer dinner where the brewer comes out and explains their beers in detail while our chef creates a pairing for each course.

The Happy Gnome makes me happy! Food is delicious and our waitress was on point as far as friendliness and speed! We did not have a whole lot of time to eat as we were trying to catch a movie and she did her best to make sure we got the food/bill as quickly as possible. Love it.

Best rotating tap selection of any place I've ever seen!!! They have more than 100 beers from a really wide variety, and some are quite exotic! Food is fantastic as well! One more claim ending in an exclamation point is warranted here! ;-)

I try to make a habit of coming here once a week, although it's a little pricey for a grad student. Usually I'll just get a beer, sit at the bar, and enjoy the ambiance. There are two separate parts of the restaurant, a bar and a more sit-down restaurant area. The service is usually quite fast, even when it's busy. The food sounds surprisingly fancy for the look and feel of the place, but it's always delicious. Their beer cheese pretzel makes for a great snack whilst drinking beer, and the flatbread pizzas are unique and tasty. The one thing I was not as much a fan of was the mixed drinks on their menu, although that might just be a matter of taste.

Wonderful food, wonderful beer! I love eating here. Also, one of the few places on Selby that has its own decent-sized parking lot.

This was a total surprise! I was in town for work and thought I'd check out the place with the fun name. The food was great and the staff was AMAZING! I have some dietary restrictions and their 'scratch' kitchen was able to accommodate me. The beer is pretty good too! I will be back next time I am in town!
