I wouldn't say "comfort food" at all. Yes small plates...very cute SMALL plates as to the menu was the size of 1/4 a sheet of paper with about 12 items on it. Quaint little Portuguese cafe specializes in their beautiful pastries and cakes!! I asked for a EGG ham and cheese and clearly got a grilled ham and cheese,no EGG. I asked where the egg was and she said I had to say "egg". Maybe she meant I was supposed to say it in Portuguese because I clearly pointed to and said egg.

Great Portuguese food and desert with good coffee.  We had the ham and cheese croissant and a ham and cheese on Portuguese  croissant both toasted,  both were yummy. For dessert we had the egg custard and yogurt cake, they were fresh and delicious! They serve you in a timely manner with a smile. The place is clean. Their price is reasonable. Inside and outside sitting.

Excellent Expresso and food. Little options but fast taste great and nice peoole. You need to try this place

Cozy little corner with good Portuguese sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. Staff provides excellent service with a smile.
