Cafe 538 has the best breakfast burritos, but Leo’s salsa puts them over the top! Since Leo took over the business, his menu choices have grown! Great lunch options now and he caters large orders! We love his breakfast burritos with salsa the most! Thank you Leo!!!

Cute little café.  Great place to grab a quick coffee or soda and a sandwich.

I am not a local and read good/bad reviews but decided to check  it out due  to low prices  breakfast burritos $5.75 or ham cheese sandwich too I ordered the 2 egg potatoes, w beacon/ sausage w muffin  for $7 50 see pic and loved it I'll return here for the cleaness and lovely patio outdoor to enjoy your food  Vegetarian options: Great casual but super clean  Facility .

This place is amazing! I am a pharma rep and I ordered it for an office, per the offices request. Not only did the manager, Leo, work with me to ensure I stayed within my budget, they also were extremely helpful in picking out items as I had never eaten here before. The food was incredible and when I got to my office everything was already set up beautifully and the staff was extremely happy to have such a delicious breakfast!!! I highly recommend this place for your catering needs or even for a breakfast or lunch stop! I will definitely be going back.

I would never have given this place so many chances if it wasn’t the closest place from work for lunch. After ordering from here about 6-7 times in the last three weeks I have had ONE enjoyable lunch. Last week, none of the sandwiches I ordered came with tomato like the description said. So today when I ordered and paid online ahead, I made sure to ask for tomato.... only to find out after being handed my food that they went back and charged me more, .92$ for extra tomato! When I brought it up, the owner was not apologetic, but defensive. Not only that, but there were literally only two tomato slices on the entire sandwich, one of which was unripe and hard- inedible.  Not sure why this place nickels and dimes hard working healthcare workers who just need a reliable lunch. Forget the chaotic counter at cafe 538 and bring your lunch like a good grown up.

I am extremely sadden that I have to write the following review as I have always loved the food here and it has been one of my favorite places to eat .  I have been ordering food from this place for a group of clients at my workplace over the past couple of months and have been very satisfied with the food. Today, when I ordered 4 paninis and 2 salads one of my clients who had one of the 2 salads, found what looks like a metal screen that looks like it might be from a sink, in her salad. I called Cafe 538 and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with Leo who said he was the manager and calmly explained to him the situation. He immediately implied that it couldn't possibly be them and implied that we were making this up. In the past I have worked in the food industry for many years and am well aware that people can make things up, however, there are MANY cases where these things absolutely happen.  I was taken back at the fact that there was NO remorse, NO apology but rather a finger pointed at me for something that they did which is a HAZARD. Leo left me feeling violated with the lack of concern and care for the matter. Being that I was not heard and felt zero respect, I asked if I could speak with a manager above him. He told me that he would have to ask and see if they would want to talk to me. I explained to him that surely they would want to hear about the safety hazard and he didn't even give it a thought. I am blown away at the HORRIBLE customer service, management and lack of concern for food safety. I really hope that they start being more cautious about food handling and food safety moving forward so that this kind of thing doesn't happen to someone in the future resulting in a serious injury. It's unfortunate that I have more concern for their customers' health and safety rather than the manager Leo

Wide selection of decent cafeteria style food

Worst croissant I have ever had in my life. It is all dried up like staying in the cafe for a month.

Awesome place to have a nice breakfast

Got my order wrong twice. The "beef nachos were chicken.  No chicken nachos listed on menu.  The "cheddar cheese" was cheese whiz.  The "pinto beans" were refried beans.  A surprise not listed on the menu, jalapeno peppers.  Too bad I'm allergic.  I feel sorry for the medical workers that have to eat here.  Then again, maybe they whip up special orders for then and they can ignore the erroneous, unhealthy menu board
