This is a clean, quiet coffee shop full of people studying. It feels like the kind of place where a writer who was academically respected, but not very popular would say they got their best work done. It's kind of hidden in an alley, so it requires some effort to find. They have good coffee and a nice selection of large cookies as well as other pastries.

This is a large coffee-shop in a back alley in the U-district. It has a lot of smallish tables occupied by students working away on their laptops and is obviously a little off the beaten path. The alleyway itself is undergoing some beautification, possibly lead by the coffee shop and the down-hill end feels okay. the Coffee-shop is just up from Mod-Pizza The coffee itself is rich and smooth, with no bitter notes, and an almost chocolatey after taste that lingers. at $4.24 (12/2017) for a DTL sometimes worth the extra couple of dimes compared to other nearby places.

My favorite coffee in u-district. Made well every time. The environment is cozy and nostalgic. Upstairs seating is quiet and good for working. Only thing is the Wi-Fi is very unreliable. Come here to read.

Great coffeeshop near University of Washington campus. The place is small and cozy. I'd like the place but it has limited sitting and always filled with students studying. So finding a sitting place is a problem there.

Great little hole in the wall for some pretty decent coffee. Great place for peace and quiet if you're into reading or studying.
