Story

Café Astoria is an independent local coffee shop. Owned and operated by chef John Occhiato and Leah Raymundo. As residents of West 7th, we are committed to the neighborhood and strive to create a warm comfortable place for people to relax, work and socialize. Located in the historic Paulina building on the corner of Leech and Grand, our shop pays homage to the history of this great building.

My friends and I visited on a Saturday morning around 9am. It was pretty busy and got even busier around 11am. They have a great selection of drinks! I saw a few really cool drink orders with a large toasted marshmallow. The drinks and food my friends and I had were to our liking. 

I would definitely recommend trying a smoothie bowl. It comes with delicious granola!

So, everything looks pretty. But that's pretty much it, not a lot of flavor. So, if you're looking for something that looks good, this is your place. If they could make their coffee actually taste good, I would spend all my money here. A note, on the weekends they have table service, so you have to wait for a table to drink coffee there.

A fun, funky coffehouse experience. This is what cafes should be. It's a small space - go early in the day if you want to avoid crowds. Great service, cool decor.

Loved the place !!! Although it's a little small for the crowd, the ambience is perfect for a cafe. There's usually a wait here to get the seats. Also, table service is till 2.00 PM only. They have a secret menu for tee exclusives which are not in the menu but only avaible upon request. Do try out their coffees. Exclusive and tasty! Loved their crepes too. Overall a fun place to be !

Nice and cozy atmosphere. Usually very busy  depending on the time you go there. Definitely a great place for catching up with a friend. Coffee are beautifully presented.
