Was once a 5 Star coffee spot for me, not anymore. The entire staff has been changed and the new hires are very slow, very annoyed to be there, and consistently mess up orders. Still tasty coffee.

I have visited this location multiples times and during the week you can expect quick service and acceptable coffee but for some reason their weekend crews leave a lot to be desired.  This morning I stopped in for a coffee and the cashier acted as though she was bored and could barely stay awake and then I waited way too long for them to prepare my order.  I am speaking just to this particular location when I way that Dunn Brothers needs to work on things here.

They have their own roaster onsite! It's a little noisy if you sit near it, but it's fun to watch. The coffee is good, especially the dark roast, and the staff are reasonably friendly.

1/2 stars. Decent service at a busy shop. In the last 7 months, I've gone there once or twice a week consistently and at the same time of day. I order the exact same thing every time and there is always something different in the taste. No one there remembers my order; Never asked for a name or started a conversation even when there wasn't a line. I don't wear my headphones or have my cell when ordering. Once I tried to deviate from my usual and it was like an inconvenience for the cashier to ask questions. That being said, nothing negative, always friendly, nothing special. The two best things going are the fire place on cold and quiet day -- in theory. and that the line is fast and beats Starbucks next door.

This is my go-to espresso place when I'm in Minneapolis st. Paul area like it so much better than caribou Coffee has a mellow flavor.
