We had lunch at the outside patio down by the the bar. There's a great view of the elk river and the ambiance and feel of the bar is great. Then there's the food. It's absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend had the fish tacos and I had the BBQ carnitas and we thought both were excellent and the lunch menu is very reasonably priced. Quick, friendly, funny service and just all around a wonderful experience make this place come highly recommended.

The ambiance alone is worth the visit. The service was excellent. The food was delicious: flounder done to perfection, plantains were just right. The weather helped us to decide to stay the night. I'll write about our stay tomorrow. The night's sleep was restful. Breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit, warm scones, omlet, hash browns. Plenty of coffee, tea, and juice. Wonderful.

Unbelievable!!! This is an historic Bed and Breakfast in the small town of Sutton, WV. Located right off there BRICK LAID Main St. nestled right on the river, it could not be a better place to rewind and relax for a dinner or drink to a full weekend of amazing service and food. The home has been renovated for modern times, but also has the great feel of history...not to mention the cups of coffee looking over a gorgeous river bank! The food is prepared daily and by a professional chef. I had the filet and it melted in my mouth!! If your willing to spend a little bit of money for a 5-star experience then this is the place. Best kept secret in West Virginia. Hands down.

Another great birthday dinner and night at the inn. Not a fancy place but WELL worth the money!

Can not say enough. This is the best kept secret but the word is out now this is truly a 5star restaurant. One of few in this state. Oysters, Steaks, local wine, and an amazing staff. Once a month for me see you soon. Tell them James sent you.
