A nice way to relax on a patio over the water. Close enough at least. The food was just at that point in between great and mediocre. It's like the cooks were given license to almost do great things - for example,. the potatoes with my breakfast were like higher-end freezer isle pre-cooked potatoes, but then the chef tossed in a bit of rosemary to spice things up. I feel like someone is holding back the chef from actually making rosemary potatoes, which would be so good. Instead, they can follow someone's recipe and accidentally add flavor if they don't get caught. Either this, or they need a new recipe book/head chef. Straddling the line between good hearty food and fancy food makes for uninspired wannabe food. That sounded harsh. It was good food, just not great. The price was a tad too much for the plate, but the outdoor seating by the water is worth the extra if you can hang out and enjoy.

I have been coming here for so many years that they have changed management 3 times. This review is about the current Cafe NOT the past. This place had a bumpy road but things seem to be smoothing out. Food prices were lowered! Which was needed. The new Chef that started a month or two ago has good insight on how the price should match the quality of the food. New items are being added to the menu and food consistency had gone up quite a bit. The servers are hit or miss still. Paul is my favorite. Menu favorites are the Fish Tacos (best in beaverton probably) and the new Spicy Mac and Cheese.

Cafe Murrayhill has definitely had its share of ups a downs during the past couple of years. We are happy with the recent changes in menu pricing and updated happy hour selection. The management could definitely use some serious work. Would recommend asking for Paul as your server, he's by far the best!!

I love the food here, the CMH Benedict is delicious and bottomless mimosas make sitting outside on a warm morning the perfect start to almost any day. My only mark would be service, I really get the impression that I am not wanted there. I am constantly trying to catch my waiters eye to remind him of a missing part of my order or a refill or having to ask about specials. Maybe i'm not a regular enough for the familiar treatment but this is what keeps me away.

Glad to change this review from 1 star to 5. Food was great and service top notch. Great return to what we expect of CMH.
