Great Cafe. The food has a good home cooked style. Good portions and meals have great flavor profiles. Tried the pumpkin butter waffles that were on special. Yum!!  Their daily menu has some great hearty breakfasts and lunch options.  All menu options are available during the day.  Vegetarian options: They make your meal to order and so it is easy to make most dishes vegetarian.  Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring children. Down home atmosphere.

First time here. Best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time. Waitress was excellent and tentative. Food came quick.I had the Irish Benedict special and banana pancakes. The pancakes had so much flavor and wasn’t dry. 10/10 recommend.

First time there. I visited for breakfast. It was delicious.Reasonably priced.Although it is a really popular place, our food came out within a very reasonable time. Omelet was pretty good. Coffee was fresh and tasted strong. The other menu options were great as well. You should give this place a try. Highly recommended. I loved this place.

My daughter and I went to one of our favorite breakfast places in downtown Mansfield this morning, as usual it did not disappoint! I had the Farmer's Skillet eggs any style, homefries, bacon or sausage, toast. I get mine with a side of their fabulous hollandaise sauce to dip my home fries in! My daughter got blueberry pancakes topped with strawberries and whipped cream, a side of home fries and bacon. We ended up taking half of each home! Delicious! Waitstaff is friendly, prompt and helpful, menu is extensive and the restaurant is super clean. Definitely recommend!

Wasn't really that crazy about Cafe on common in mansfield. Our server was pretty good being attentive and courteous, However, the food left something to be desired. I ordered a pastrami sandwich on rye for I believe $14 to $16. I really could have put all the pastrami from the whole sandwich on one half of the sandwich and it would have made an average pastrami sandwich. I also had some onion rings which, have to order was undercooked. The person I was with had an omelet, that they said was very good. Perhaps I will revisit Cafe on the common in the future and try an omelette maybe that is their forte. Wow....now that I got that out let me enlighten you on my visit. We visited on a Saturday morning for breakfast. We arrived around 7:20 and it wasn't too busy so we were seated right away. The layout out the restaurant is nice.  Server: Our server was Barbara and she was very nice and attentive. She was courteous and quite nice while answering our questions and taking our order.  Food/Beverages: We went with the regular hot coffee for our drink and I fell in love with it. The menu stated it was their own special brew and it was brewed to perfection. Take it from someone who drinks coffee everyday, I know a good coffee when I taste it. Maybe it's just my taste buds but the coffee didn't have a very strong tast and with a little cream and sugar it was ready to go. Our food came out within a VERY reasonable time. Everything tasted so fresh and boy was it DE-LICI-OUS.  Overall: I wish we lived closer so we could visit this place more often. Best believe it's going on my list of places to visit when I'm back in town. If you are questioning if you should give this place a try, stop thinking about and just go.

Went for breakfast on a Monday afternoon after Christmas. Just wanted a simple breakfast meal that was quick. Had no wait. Service was friendly, but the food here is not it. Ordered a Benedict with spinach and tomato and New Orleans omelette. Home fries lacked flavor, omelette had way too much cheese, hollandaise sauce was watery. Fruit cup was old looking. Also ordered a portobello sandwich and it was way too cheesy, and since the cheese is just basic it was very gummy. Don’t recommend this place you can easily cook some of the dishes at home.

Used to be amazing.  This place used to have the most flavorful food cooked to order but the last several times everything's been disappointing. The food is too oily not cooked right and lacks flavor. The potatoes and eggs used to have onions and other seasonings. Even the mixed drinks don't seem balanced like they used to. They also reduced the portions unfortunately as well. Idk if they got a new chef or whatever but it just hasn't been the same.

Food was good. Quick service.
