The food was great and they give you plenty. It was also delicious.The waitress was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back.
Perfect place for a bite to eat - you won't regret it at all. Unique, American atmosphere that is nostalgic; reminiscent of what you'd expect from an east coast diner in the 1950s.
My first visit, menu had a nice selection. Ordered one of my favorites, Open face Roast Beef. 1st greeted by an unfriendly staff member. No smile no greeting, dropped menu n walked away. 2nd shower curtains deviding booths were dirty, the floor was very trashy. 3rd food looked wonderful, but was not. Roast beef dish had 3 huge slices of texas bread, 5 tiny pieces of meat. Then potatoes, they offer several styles, but use instant potatoes for meals. No flavor, very disappointed. They only dish we enjoyed was King Coney. Cabbage rolls dry flavor was weak. Lastly, rolling a cart of over stacked, frozen foods, through the restaurant while customers are eating. Over all experience, very disappointed.
The same as it ever was. I went to this spot 30+ years ago with my Grandma and nothing has changed. That's a good thing! Tasty coneys, and fresh cut fries. Legit.Food: 5/5
Worst service ever. I’ve been coming here for years & the service has really declined. The waitresses are always rude & attitudes are horrible. The young lady today got mad at me because her coworker rung my order up incorrectly. And she was on the phone her airpod the entire time. Hope they start doing better but this will be the last time they get my money.
We called in our order for a double cheeseburgerand a double mushroom Swiss burger with 2 LG fries. The order got messed up, He went in to get our order was handed 2 bags , got them home and it was 24 coney, since he used the debt card she didn't give him the receipt. 47 dollars for 24 coney dogs. Won't go again
Coneys were disgusting didn't even finish one. Waitress barely spoke to us. Then charged me for all the coneys even after I complained about them and didn't eat them. Never going back. Would suggest to someone I hated. Wheelchair accessibility: Non existent you couldn't fit a wheelchair through there unless they moved everything.
Best time is really early in the morning...Liz always does an amazing job...the food is absolutely fantastic...good down home little diner setting..easy on the pocket too...and the coffee is worth going just for that ...thank u Liz & coney Island for always having the best food in town ...imho
I love this place. It always gives me that old classic dinner feel. I love their chicken and their coffee. And the staff have always been nice to me and my family when we come by.
The waitresses are great. Every time my husband and I Go in, they treat us like royalty. So sweet and constantly checking on us. Great service and good food!
