I had wanted to go to Cafe Pastis for a while but most of the times we went by it was crowded which seemed a great sign.
My wife and I decided to make a reservation to be sure to get a table,we arrived a 7:45 PM. The waitress sat us at the table right next to the entrance and the silverware station fortunately the table next to us  was empty and we proceeded to change.
The water right away arrived as well as our server,he told us the special ,took our drinks and came back to take the order.
The special appetizer sounded great goat cheese souffle with prosciutto and arugula salad,i ordered it .When the souffle arrived,it was a puff pastry casing and a goat cheese melted inside not the souffle i was expecting and that should of been,well i ate it and didn't call anyone's attention.
The rest of the meal was the same,old fashion heavy and overcooked.I don't know what to think about the other diner that goes there regularly but maybe i expected too much for 130 Dollars,I will never go back.

Delicious food and fabulous service! My husband and I came here for dinner for the first time for Valentine's Day and we enjoyed our dinner. Although we were late for our reservation, the staff were very understanding and sat us immediately. The server was very friendly and accommodating. We had a crab cake appetizer, filet mignon, and a seafood soup with a bottle of red wine. Everything tasted amazing! I highly recommend for those who appreciate French cuisine and a comfortable ambiance.

Difficult to find due to very small and not easy to notice from street at normal traffic. Not crowded at all but parking might be troublesome due to small parking area for the amout of businesses nearby. Food is great and not as pricy as expected. Have a variety of French style dishes that are all delicious. Service is kind and "presto" but might bump you from time to time as they are trying to move fast in such a reduced area. Definitely not recommended if you like distance from other tables

I have been coming to Cafe Pastis for years and it never disappoints.  Fresh food and great service. 
This small French restaurant is run by its owner which is always there to make sure everything is perfect. 

Love the the Lamb and the bouillabaisse. Great daily specials also. You will love this place.

Excellent food at good price considering it is right in the center of saint tropez ( but in January )Please check your restrooms more often as uncivilized barbars are frequenting it.
