This is a hopping spot on the weekends, lots of folks and pretty loud. Food is always good, we have been here for lunch and dinner. Chicken dishes seem to be their specialty and they have a lot of good recipes. They run specials through the week on dinners, so always good to keep your eye open. The environment is very nice, a bit narrow because of the kitchen up front that is open to watch chefs prepare but opens in the back to a bigger room. This is a BYOB restaurant.

My mother-in-law came here yesterday to meet with her friends and she was absolutely amazed by the ambience, service and food so she went back today with my husband and I in tow. And she didn’t disappoint! I love their garlic knots that they served right away. I had to stop myself from eating so I would still have space for the pasta I ordered. I ordered seafood pasta in sweet marinara sauce and it is delish! I wasn’t able to finish it (blame it on the garlic knots!) and was glad that I was able to take it home to savor it more for later. They also put effort to plating and I appreciate that they do that because it makes the customer experience a few notches higher. The prices were also very reasonable for a sit-down Italian fare. We would definitely return again for another meal.

Best place to eat on main street in Somerville. Good food large portions at reasonable prices. This is a byob.

Always great!  This has been "our spot" for years.  We had our engagement party here a few years back and it was amazing.   I can't say enough about the staff.  I order something new every time (100s of times).  Cafe Picasso is a "can't miss"!

Cozy atmosphere and decor, excellent service, and convenient location.  Parking will be Street side or public lots (which requires payment until 8 PM, including Saturday as an FYI.).  Selection of appetizers, entrees, salads, soups, and desserts are plentiful, with sizeable portions served.  Pricing of food is extremely fair, considering the amount of food per portion.  Monday evenings are half price pastas, and Wednesday evenings are half price chicken.  BYOB restaurant.  Absolutely recommend for any size party.
