The food has a good flavor and the atmosphere is well designed. The person who made my food somewhat assumed what I wanted before I was finished but it may have been my fault as this was my first time here. It may be that I just don't know the procedures. Overall, a good place to eat.

Cafe Rio, do you even know what an open-kitchen Mexican restaurant is all about?! You order the meat, and the cook is supposed to prepare it fresh--in front of your eyes--but that's not what happened. Cafe Rio boasts "Only the best, served to you fresh", but the grilled steak was taken from a warmed can, like at a cafeteria. The food tasted OK, but I sure paid for better. I'm unsure if I got this at Cafe Rio, but the next day I had some bad intestinal distress, so I'm never visiting again!

I use to love this place when I lived in Arizona. However, I have eaten at this location a few times and every time my stomach hurts afterwards. I'm going to guess it might have to do with the utensils they use to scoop the food, they have plastic on them that is cracking off and I'm going to assume ending up in the food. Wish I could of gotten a picture, so disgusting! Also I don't think they train the employees properly. I either end up with alot of meat or none at all, very inconsistent. I will no longer be eating here sadly because I used to love their food.

Loved the pork quesadilla i ordered.so good.had to dig dipper in my pocket but its ok.☺☺
