I have loved coming here over the years. Good service and upscale food at a reasonable price. Has a great ambience withe lake views too. I think breakfast is their best meal by far.

Rude and critical hostess. When the manager was summoned, the manager was as defensive and rude as the hostess. The incident originated at the bar when only one seat was available. We were happy to occupy the one seat when another patron at the bar volunteered that he would be glad to make two seats available but a woman at the bar was occupying the seat next to him with her purse. He asked her earlier to move her purse, but she refused. Rather than being in the middle of this, I asked the hostess to resolve it. She inappropriately criticized me for asking her to resolve this dilemma, and after asking the woman to remove her purse from the seat (which she did), she turned to me and said that all I had to do would be nice and the problem would have been resolved. Frankly, I never addressed the woman at the bar with the purse because it is better left to the management. At Cafe Sante, the management prefers to demean their customers rather than solve relatively common restaurant issues. The food and atmosphere is not good enough to overcome distasteful, unaccommodating and rude employees. Plenty of better restaurants are available in the area. A management failure. My wife and I left.

Food was good. Really enjoyed the lime on the pancakes. Service was great! Worth checking out.

Food was delicious. I had frittata with sausage, mushrooms and gruyere cheese. I got a cappuccino which waitress Jane was kind enough to refill when empty with regular coffee. Space is intimate with a European vibe.

They wouldn't seat us (a group of 15) because we were still waiting on a couple guys. Not cool. I was excited to go but it doesn't look like I'm ever going back
