Cakabakery made us an amazing Cubs World Series cake for the grooms cake at our wedding (3 days after they won)! They were originally going to make a Stanley Cup cake, but I emailed very late Wednesday night and asked if they could change it up for a Sat pick up. They were extremely accommodating, and the cake turned out great! It was a huge hit with my husband and all of our guests. Their flexible was appreciated, and the cake tasted great. We got our cupcakes somewhere else due to price, flavor, and taste. The other bakery was not able to make a custom cake for the same price and flexibility as Cakabakery.

Awesome experience!! We special ordered 2 cakes on Friday for the next day. Then I forgot they closed at 3. They went out of their way to open the store after hours and give us our cakes. The cakes were beautiful and exactly what the picture looked like that we asked for. We couldn't be happier with Cakabakery and we will be lifelong customers.

We originally got our wedding cake from Second Floor Bakery. It was a delicious cake. So for our one year anniversary we wanted to recreate it. But this new company bought it out. They said that their recipes were different, but very good. So we went ahead and ordered. We were so excited about that cake for a few weeks. Then we got it. When attempting to slice it we realized the density was much harder than before. Then the filling was a paste, not the jam like before. The flavor and density of the champagne cake was more like bland banana bread than cake. And the filling only had a hint of strawberry. It was dense and bland. We never would have chose them for our wedding cake. Very disappointed. We actually returned it so they would know how dissatisfied we were. We were promised a call from the manager to discuss a possible refund. It has been four days and no one has called. I guess we just learned a $28 lesson.

2nd Floor Bakery in Holland just did our wedding cake this last weekend and they were absolutely amazing. The cake was beautiful, exactly how we wanted it and it was so good! Everyone complimented how great it tasted. The cake was delivered on time and was very subtle; I hardly noticed she was in and out! We ended up having cupcakes as well so we did not have to go up a tier which turned out great. My husband even had some of their cookies from the bakery which were fantastic. We would recommend them to everyone. Good prices, beautiful and tasty. :)

The service is great & everybody is super friendly. The cakes are decorated beautifully..... but the quality of product is very poor. Their cake is dry & the frosting was disgusting.....it was all gritty & felt like I was chewing sand! I guess if you're looking for a beautifully unedable centerpiece, then this is the place to go!
