We loved this little cake shop. We came in to taste different flavors and were blown away by all the choices. We probably sampled about 7 different cakes with different fillings and different icings. Chris asked what we were looking for and maybe some pictures of the designs we liked. She delivered exactly what we wanted. The cake tasted so fresh and looked perfect! It was delivered on time and with no mishaps. Great design, great flavors, and a great price. Thank you so much Chris for all your help!

The one and only thing this place has going for it is the Italian cake. There is no variety for icings and the staff is not friendly AT ALL. We came for a wedding cake tasting and they refused to make the cake/icing combination that we wanted to try, and recommended that if we wanted that flavor combination we could order a cake from them and pay for it. Will discourage out of town friends/family from coming here when we have our wedding.

I'm so happy to have found this place. I came in from Texas to celebrate my sons birthday in Myrtle Beach. The cake came out looking AMAZING!!! It was sooooo good! I'm not a buttercream person, but theirs is absolutely delectable! Thanks for doing such beautiful and delicious work!!!!

I emailed her last minute in need of a cake for my boys 4th birthday and she got right back to me and made it happen. The cake was exactly what I wanted (ninja turtle themed) and it was out of this world delicious!! Thank you Cakes By the Sea!
