Story

The Calhoun County Library opened in its new St. Matthews location in June 2010. As an SCLENDS member library, patrons have access to over 2.6 million books, DVDs, audiobooks and other items through the SCLENDS consortium.

The library is adjacent to the Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College QuickJobs Training Center and Calhoun County Courthouse building.

We welcome comments and ask each user to be courteous. Users are responsible for the content of their postings. We reserve the right to delete any of the following: violent, obscene, profane, hateful, or racist comments; comments that threaten or defame any person or organization; solicitations, advertisements, or endorsements of any financial, commercial, political candidate, or non-governmental agency; comments that suggest or encourage illegal activity; multiple successive off-topic posts by a single user; repetitive posts copied and pasted by multiple users; personal info including, but not limited to, email addresses, telephone numbers, mailing addresses, or ID numbers.
