This is an incredible state park. We stayed here for five nights and after the first night, already starting planning out next trip. The camp sites are very spacious, the park is well kept, clean, and quiet. Our puppy loved playing in the lake (pet friendly park!) The staff are so friendly too. Can not say enough positive statements about this park. We've camped at a few state parks from ND to MN to SC and this is our favorite so far.

This is the better of the parks in this area. Large park with campground, beach area, plenty of playgrounds and picnic areas. They have one trail, tennis courts and a basketball court.

Fancy site, beautiful lake, it is amazing except the "wild lives". I stayed at site 17 and there are so many cockroach that made my stay a terrible experience. In the night, they fly and hit my body like crazy. I killed more than 10 a night but there were more out there running on the ground. I understand cockroach is a part of nature, and there are many wild spices that play roles of decomposers. But those I saw are not! And it's obviously not natural to have so many cockroaches in woods.
