Yeah, it’s me again. So, I stopped in here since I heard this is the closest thing I’ll get to In-N-Out in Washington State, and I was impressed. This location is in the food court and you order on a kiosk. I had tried a Crispy Malibu BLT Chicken, a Cali Double and the “Cali Style“ Fries if you know In-N-Out, you know what I mean. Excellent. All three, excellent. I may have to venture down to Oregon to compare this place to In-N-Out. I’m afraid, as strange as it feels to say this, I think this place is better. 10/10, coming here again.
Partook due an interest in confirming or dispelling the rumors of it being nigh 1:1 w/In-N-Out. It's in the Alderwood Mall food court if that isn't obvious. That's also the reason for the average atmosphere. Come for the food and you'll be happy. I had a Pasadena Burger and their regular fries. + The fries are more representative of "normal" fries than what In-N-Out does. I know a few people that dislike In-N-Out's fries. I personally only enjoy them w/the extra cook on them. I wasn't offered any option for additional cook on the fries so I don't know if there's any provision for such a thing or not. The default cook is quite tasty though. + I dx'd the mustard from my Pasadena Burger because I don't hate America and have a modicum of self-respect. Mayo/mustard and any friends of theirs are pure vile evil cancer. Not a fan. While I did not have access to a double double similarly configured; sans the abominable affront to nature they call spread and adding ketchup in its stead from memory, this Pasadena Burger configuration is nigh 1:1 and should put the "rumors" down as confirmed true. As such, enjoyers of In-N-Out should now rejoice as there's one less reason to subject oneself to the dumpster fire that is the PRK. "Kalifornia". Will definitely be frequenting this location/chain!
Bringing my senior parents here and requested to make the burgers half, so it’s easier for them to chew. The folks in the kitchen were so unfriendly and said NO. When I asked why, they are like “I Don’t Know”. : Never heard a burger place not willing to accommodate a simple request, no wonder why it’s so quiet here. Attached is the picture of folks who are working today Dec 15th.
I love when you can order on a touch screen so really enjoyed the setup. I got the ktown burger and it was delicious and so fresh. I judge a burger by the patty taste and quality and 10/10. This was my first time trying this place but next time I’d def like to try their in n out inspired fries and the chicken sandwich.Food: 5/5
They only have ordering through kiosk. Kinda confusing. Employees there are not nice. I had an issue and the Hispanic employee did not speak. Just looked.at me. Ripped off the top of my burger and walked away. Terrible customer service.Food: 4/5
In Seattle, this is probably the closest thing you can get to In-N-Out. I absolutely love In-N-Out, but by all means that doesn't mean that Cali Burger is close to In-N-Out's level whatsoever. Out of all the places to eat in the food court at Alderwood Mall, for some reason I always gravitate towards Cali Burger. I mean, they're alright, but I usually get some french fries, and a cali double burger with bacon and grilled onions. Presentation wise, everything looks pretty similar to In-N-Out, but taste wise, not so much. The burger is kind of bland and really lacks texture and flavors. I really wished the buns were toasted, but I do appreciate the generous amount of lettuce. The fries on the other hand are pretty good though. They're pretty crisp and have a very delicous and generous amount of seasoning! Overall, everything is just alright, but still satisfies my needs. It definetly is the closest substitute to In-N-Out up here in Washington, but again, nothing like In-N-Out.
Food was ok. Pretty typical mall burger place. Just be careful of the metal warming plate on the serving bar. It’s HOT!!! I burned myself when I accidentally brushed up against it. There is no protective barrier or signage.Food: 3/5
There was slight tast of in n out but it was still nothing close. Lettuce was old and the bread tasted stale. I was in the bathroom for a while after i got back home.
I was pleasantly surprised how flavorful the burgers were. We had the Santa Monica chicken burger which had a very distinct taste which left you wanting more. Definitely recommend checking this place outFood: 5/5
People leaving good reviews for this place are blind, deaf, and have no taste buds. Service was terrible. Food was terrible. Couldn't even get the drink right. Got a tea that tasted like coke because they must not clean the machine. Gross.Food: 1/5
