So here I am all day with my mom, and her roomate in the hospital is asking for a doctor and her glasses and to speak with her son. I've been talking with her and trying to keep her calm while the nurses sit here and ignore her. Shes like 80+ and they haven't given her anything at all to drink since 2:10 pm and its now 7:40. Shes cognitive, not crazy or soft in the head. Shes totally aware of whats going on and just wants to talk with her son. She asked if I would call him since she can't see so well, which I did. To my surprise she knew his number from memory and asked me to call so she could have him bring her his stuff. I called and let him know where his mother was and handed the phone to her. While she was on the phone, one male nurse who resembles Bilbo Baggens calls my siblings and I out to the hallway and tells me I'm breaking the law and by interfering with her care. SHE'S A SCARED 80 Y.O WOMAN JUST WANTING TO TALK TO HER SON YOU HEARTLESS PRICK! The charge nurse is notified and we explain what happened and she thanks us for caring for the old gal, and tells me we didn't do anything wrong. Meanwhile the nurse who was harassing my family and I is yelling that we need to be kicked out and that he'll get the legal department involved. Now I'm sitting here with my mom still, and her neighbor still hasn't consumed anything in 8 hours. She's asking for help and hitting the nurse button cuz shes in pain, but they won't help. And if sutter wants to sue me for libel, this is legally defensible because I have omited names and this is factual. Sutter treats old ppl like garbage that talks!

Service at the nursing rehab is bellow zero. Only few RNs are actually doing their job. Others would find every possible excuse not to. Very unfortunate to see this hospital taking the path that patients don't matter.

I was suffering from acute shortness of breath that was rapidly diminishing so I had a friend drive me to CPMC Davies Campus ER at midnight. I entered ER in an almost panic state but the staff instantly made me feel comfortable and safe. They were very professional but always with a caring attitude that made me feel confident that I was in good hands. I was there 3 hours but left feeling alive with endless gratitude to the outstanding team of professionals led by Kathleen Shannon Edmunds MD.

Called to ask a simple question and was given an attitude, unfortunately I did not get her name but this is unacceptable. Rude response and very unprofessional.

Doctors and nurses for most part are wonderful, we had a rude nurse tell us we cant fall asleep in the waitting room and post a note on the wall saying we can only have 2 people per family in waitting room..we have alot of people here that dont even live here and for staff to be rude and whatnot in how they speak to family members going through trying times of loveones being in critical conditions hospital administration should revisit training on staff professionalism
