We had the pleasure, three of us, of dining at Callaloo. I a word it was excellent. Flavor and quality are the best we have enjoyed. Recommend Tuesday night, which tends to be slower maybe because they are closed on Monday. The view of the golden full moon reflecting on the water last night was very pleasant. We most highly recommend Callaloo...a little hard to find hidden behind the Riviera Marina fka Riviera Restaurant. I could go back tonight it is so memorably good. DH

Good food, nice staff and pleasant view. It is not outside dining, but still offers a nice view of the wildlife. Too expensive for large groups, as portion sizes will leave you hungry.

This place is terrible. The food is bland, a poor excuse for "Caribbean" food. The owner is a very kind man, along with a friendly night time bartender (though he couldn't keep a glass filled in an empty bar.) The cook/co-owner is a snooty, stuck up woman, who pretends to be friendly but will roll her eyes walking through the dining room. We tried to eat here several times, nothing but disappointment. Ask too meet the cook, she walks around in flip flops a clear health violation. No hair net, in a dress. Hardly professional. It's sad to see who bought the riviera did worse then Rivera ever did. They care nothing of new customers, and only care about keeping the regulars happy. The waitresses are sweet and you can see all the other staff running about trying to do a good job. I give it 2 years before they are closed.
