Smokehouse barbeque was wonderful!! Ribs and pulled pork were both tender and flavorful. Salad bar and all items were fresh. Server could have been a little more attentive and actually stopped by table without us having to get her attention the one time. Usually very happy in that department.

My waitress was absolutely wonderful. But the cook they have Grilling the steaks has no personality he didn't smile didn't talk and he constantly gave me the wrong cut of meat. all I wanted was medium rare and I kept getting rare or well-done. It was so bad that I even took a picture of a piece that I asked for it as medium and it came out so rare is blood red. I understand it's not a steakhouse but I do expect to get my steak cooked properly and friendly staff to deal with. I understand some people aren't happy with their job but they still need to make the best out of it. He ruined my evening with his pathetic attitude

I lived in Punta Gorda 20 years ago. This Golden Corral was there at that time, and I don't think it has had any renovations since. The buffet is much smaller than other Golden Corrals I've eaten at, and the food was not up to par. Most of the vegetables were severely overcooked, except for the potatoes, which were half cooked. Normally, there are several items that I enjoy. This time, I pretty much stayed with the salad side. Having a mildew smell permeate the dining room didn't help things either.

Good food, big buffet, kind of a herd feeding experience but at a great price. One must give to get and low prices require less labor cost.

Golden Corral is a local staple. Their service is always great. Their food is reliable and predictable. I am particularly proud of how they support Veterans--always a discount and a free meal on Veterans Day. I will always support them for this effort.
