Pastor Jon Bell is a refreshing change from those Pastors who strive to be relevant or those guys who try to make the Gospel more inviting to spiritual seekers. He doesn't need to do either of those things. Pastor Jon knows that the Scriptures are already relevant to every issue of life. So he does it the old fashion way. He observes the text verse by verse through the passage, then he interprets that text within the framework of the historical and grammatical contexts, and then he explains how to apply it to our every day lives. There is a good balance of contemporary praise with a smattering of traditional hymns to round out the worship portion of the service. The people are genuinely loving and unpretentious.The order of worship is not very traditional, but it is not too seeker friendly or overly charismatic. "Balanced" would be the best word to describe this worship experience.

Great community of believers who love Jesus. Awesome Bible studies, Spirit-led worship, and engaged fellowship. Always someone ready to pray for you, encourage you, and walk you through the scriptures in counsel. Genuinely friendly and caring brothers and sisters. Several opportunities for fellowship, including a mid-week service (Wednesday night), bible studies, prayer meetings, small groups, etc. There is an emphasis on expository teaching, chapter by chapter, book by book, placing equal emphasis on the teaching of God’s Word, from Genesis to Revelation. The Pastor is a gifted Bible teacher, relatable and passionate about sharing the Lord’s wisdom and truth with the congregation. I also like that services begin and end with praise and worship.

We have been at this church for almost a year...it is such a sweet body of believers in Jesus! Services involve good, meaningful worship and straight-out-of-the-Bible teaching. They do not rely on smoke, mirrors or hype...just God's Word, simple and pure. Bible studies on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights are chapter-by-chapter, verse-by-verse. A welcoming church that is focused on the truth.
