About

Camas Meadows is Southwest Washington & Portland's Premier Golf Course & Events Site!

Story

Welcome to Camas Meadows Golf Course, Southwest Washington's premier public 18-hole, Par 72 golf destination! Our 17,000 sq ft Clubhouse and Golf Course is tucked away in the forested wetlands near Lacamas Lake and combines incredible scenery with a uniquely challenging 6,571 yard Championship design that will satisfy beginning and accomplished golfers alike. We are proud to say that we are locally owned and operated, and have been since our doors first opened back in 2000. Whether you are here to golf, coordinate a private social gathering, booking a wedding or just meeting friends for Happy Hour at our newly remodeled Oaks Bar and Grille featuring a large outdoor patio as well as a cozy fireplace, both with panoramic views over looking our immaculate grounds, fountain and the 18th green! Camas Meadows has something great to offer everyone! We are naturally placed adjacent to Lacamas Lake amid preserved wetlands and the beautiful towering evergreens of Southwest Washington, close to the Portland and Vancouver areas. The course is a perfect combination of narrow tree-lined fairways, mixed with winding fairways overlooking grassy, flower-filled meadows. Hazards include over 50 crushed white limestone bunkers, towering trees, a large water feature and much more!

Camas Meadows Golf Course was recently named
"Best Public Golf Courses to play in the Northwest" and recieved a 4-Star rating from Golf Digest Magazine. Camas Meadows was also named "Best Public Golf Course in Oregon and Southwest Washington" by the readers of The Portland Business Journal.

This was my home course 8 years ago and it was always in great shape with traditional golf course standards such as no denim no t-shirts Etc. My son played there on 7/11/17 and I was truly appalled at the course condition. The tee boxes and fairways have dead grass with weeds growing everywhere (limited watering and no fertilizer?) See the attached photo. It was apparent that the ownership cares only about profit and not the condition of the course. The putting green and first tee look nice but as you go through the front nine you will be surprised. The problem is Camas Meadows has Monopoly on golf in the region but if you want your money well spent go elsewhere.

Beautiful course. Played in about 4 hours. We'll maintained. Bring your waterproof shoes in early spring and late fall, once we're back in a rainy pattern as the course does not drain well. Long course for walking.

Well maintained Ill designed golf course. Nice views of lacamas lake, wildlife and mansions. Great Blue at Heron Lakes or Tri-Mountain are better courses at more reasonable prices.

Went for happy hour - small lounge bar with dark wood overlooking the golf course, in good weather there is outdoor seating on the deck. Happy hour menu standard fare, drink and food prices are reasonable.

Good food. Pretty view. Wasn't sure where to go upon arriving the first time; staff saw but did not greet me initially. Actual waitress was very nice. Took a while for food to come out. Down graded on price.
