We really liked how they integrate our dogs with the rest of the pack. Our dogs have never been in a large pack setting and it was initially overwhelming for them. The staff was great in explaining the issue to us and working with us to help our dogs become more comfortable. We are now a part of the pack and our dogs are becoming more comfortable with visiting!

Summary: My two dogs were left in a rest area together without supervision and got into a fight, for which Camp Bow Wow admits no fault. Full Story: After drop off, I was informed the dogs started playing at 8am. Around 10am I watched the camper cams and my dogs weren't there - they must have been "resting". At 11:30am I received a phone call that my dogs got into a fight in the rest area; a staff member heard a scuffle and then found they were fighting. My issues: 1) why were my dogs in a rest area unsupervised? There should have been a staff member present-I leave my dogs there to be watched and to play, not to be penned up alone. 2) why were they in a rest area at all? I see dogs lay down to take a break in the play area all the time. Though I doubt they were tired having only been there a few hours and having had at least one break already. They must have been rather anxious hearing the other dogs play while they were penned up to get in a completely unprovoked fight.. which again could have been prevented if the staff were watching them or didn't leave them together. Conclusion: Dogs who have lived together for 2 years don't get into a fight without reason - I just wish Camp Bow Wow would take responsibility for that reason.

I am so disgusted. I needed an overnight care facility for my 14yr old beagle. I made sure he had all his shots and paperwork in order. I took him in for a 'interview' and was not able to stay the entire 3 hour duration so, I left after 30 min and returned. I was told that he handled the other dogs well..and that he was not interactive at all but kept to himself. I had explained to them before that this was his typical behavior. They seemed overly concerned with that for some unknown reason. *he is an old dog.. gentle nature* get over it. He ended up staying for 3 nights. No issues. Paid in full.. all is well. They did not provide any feedback or takeaways from the 4 day stay. Whatever. His 2nd stay was approx. 1 month later. 2 nights. I advised over the phone that my mom would do the drop off and pick up..They acted as if I did not have anyone else listed on the paperwork..which was a lie.. because they did the first time around. I gave them my mom's info AGAIN.. and paid for the 2 nights over the phone. Day 2- Missed call..? I was in another state..so, was confused on who this was. I called back the number...camp bow wow. Went to VM. I left a mesg stating I was not avail to take calls.. and to contact my mom..The 'manager' calls back. I was annoyed as heck by this point. She proceeds to tell me my dog had a) lost a tooth, b) had been put in with the little dogs even tho he was "well over the weight limit"..(this being due to his solo nature..not interacting with the bigger dogs). On his first visit it was never made an issue. This time around- She spoke of him as if he was a huge nuisance.. Then she told me he has been limping. After all of this she tells me that Jazzy will no longer be allowed to attend camp bow wow...all this while I am out of state.. on vacation. I was so damn pissed by that point that I hung up on her. This place caters to dogs in perfect condition.. who live with wealthy families..not the dogs adopted from shelters...I will blast this location on every public site I can find. Shame on you for treating both my dog and I as unworthy of your crappy care.

Suki loves going to camp. She is well taken care of and we are very certain that she's safe there. We're really happy with the half day option because Suki is almost 12 years old and just gets too tired to go to Camp for full days on a regular basis any more. She enjoys the the time she is there and comes home tired and happy.
