Just checked out today after spending two nights here. Uniquely tucked away from civilization and yet not too far from any point of interest nearby. The facilities are great including hookups, WiFi and running water for showers. And Denise is a very kind host. The pictures of this place don't do justice to it's actual beauty

I lucked upon this campground after finding the campground at Seneca Rocks was full. Fantastic experience motorcycle camping. Host set me up with firewood and even helped start the fire! Grounds are well kept. WIFI near the office and outlet for recharging cameras. Great star viewing. Trees, river, beaver pond, crickets, birds, just about as good as it gets.

NEW CAMP GROUND! new facilities! Went camping over the memorial weekend 2013, very hospitable owners and willing to help out in a heartbeat. I went out with my 2 ½ year old daughter and we had a blast. Some camper hook ups but we went tent camping. Very secluded sites by the river, at one point in time we were the only campers/people in the campground for a solid 5hrs. Best trout fishing in North Central WV, hiking at Seneca rocks (rock climbing as well) and Spruce Knob rec area (a mountain lake); three stretches of the north fork to go rafting/canoeing on. Seneca and smoke hole caverns are close by. About 1hr from Canaan Valley and black waterfalls state parks, Davis and Thomas WV; Great for mtn biking and hiking. Please don’t be discouraged by the entrance going into the campground, the campground itself is a little of the beaten path and you do drive through a hay field but it is 100% worth the adventure.

Went here to camp over the July 4th weekend. Very secluded and peaceful campground - we brought a group of 15 with tents and pop-ups and had plenty of space to stake out our own separate community area away from all the other campers (there weren't many). On the 4th, the campground owners brought a 3 piece blues/bluegrass band in to play for everyone. Set in the shaded valley against a magnificent West Virginia mountain backdrop, sitting in the grass listening to that band is a memory I'll keep for years to come.
