It is just a parking lot on the bay, but boy is it fun. Nice amenities and clean bathrooms and showers.  If you want to relax and be close to nature this is not the place to go. If you want to be in a big family party environment this is the place go. Skate park,  basketball court,  pool, beach ,concerts, arcade, restaurant,  activities, lots of fun

I was taking a massive dump. It was my early morning dump. I was reading my news paper. Then I heard a fart that caused an earthquake. It all came out right in front of my eyes. The biggest dump known to man. I think this is outrageous. This needs to be fixed! I have attached a picture to help.

I was so glad when the petitions saved this wonderful getaway. For those who don't know, the city was trying to turn this area back into swamp land. It is a beautiful place for RV and tent camping, they have a store with a pretty decent selection of camping essentials as well as some basic grocery items. There is also a little restaurant and lots of things for kids to do. The park is gated so you don't have to worry as much about the kids, you will see them riding their bikes around the park in packs. I highly recommend it.

We really like coming to this park every summer. This year we felt the staff was a lot worse.. they have the I don't care attitude about things like the change machine not working in the laundry room or running out of certain ice cream or liquor. That being said it is a lot of fun and the guests have a blast.

The best campground in a city that I know of - from Maryland, to Virginia, to Montana, and Illinois, and even Bend, Oregon. Prices high in summer but bus, bike, and walking distance to sights including downtown. Safe for whole family to enjoy. Love all the dedicated staff who believe and help folks remember the quiet hours so we can all sleep.
