Chula Vista RV Resort is nestled on beautiful San Diego Bay, surrounded by landscaped parks and adjacent to its own 552 slip marina. Some of the other amenities include a general store with ladies boutique, picnic area with barbecues, a beautiful swimming pool and spa, laundry facilities, full restrooms, two clubrooms, and 2 full-service restaurants: Galley at the Marina and South Bay Fish and Grill.

Neat, clean, quiet and friendly describes the RVing atmosphere at the Chula Vista RV Resort. The RV Resort is more than proud of its continual Five StarRatings from Woodall's and Trailer Life. The facility is one of San Diego's finest RV Resorts with 237 concrete spaces with full hook-ups and privacy landscaping, many with bay and marina views.

We have 33,000 square feet on 17 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds surrounded by our 5-Star marina and located in beautiful San Diego. We are a quick car ride to the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Seaport Village, Gaslamp District, beaches, and all of San Diego's many attractions. We are a two hour drive to Legoland, Disneyland, and Universal Studios.

We love San Diego and to find a place like this to stay was a treat. This RV park is in a great and safe location. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The lot sizes are very adequate and are separated from other lots with tall bushes for privacy. The bathrooms/showers/laundry/pool area are very clean and well kept. It is attached to the marina and a walking park. To get to downtown San Diego or Tijuana, you can walk or drive to the trolley station down the road and that is a great convenience. Otherwise, it is a short drive to either.

Clean, beautiful but beware the Bay View. This is an expensive RV Resort and one of the most immaculately kept I have ever seen. Everything is spotless. Sites are a little narrow but bordered by hedges for some privacy. Pool is not the biggest, but it is well kept. WiFi is a bit of a sore spot - sometimes it works, often it doesn't. At this price point it should work consistently. The marina restaurant next door is an easy walk and decent food. Our only regret is that we paid extra for one of the Bayview sites which runs along the bay view park. The view is incredible, but this is a popular spot for questionable people to park their cars just on the other side of the fence and smoke marijuana. Multiple times per day we had to close all of our windows to block out the strong smell. I did not expect that!

Historically very nice. Entire office staff replaced this year. Why? 22.2% increase in monthly rate this year. No notice, not even an email or mention in their monthly newsletter. Most reluctant to give an address to explain the increase and lack of notification. Concession opened by one person in Florida.

Not Good !!!!!!!My wife and I are frequent campers at this resort. We always enjoyed our stay. Now that my wife is retired we called to book a stay for one month in August. Napoleon spent quite a bit of time to accommodate our dates for the month of August and the site we desired. We discussed monthly rates which was quite a bit less expensive than weekly rates. He put us on a brief hold and came back and said that he can not accommodate us on the monthly rates he quoted us because August is a busy time for them and we would have to pay the more expensive weekly rate. We have scratched off this resort from our travel list, sour grapes :)

Bike trails, close to downtown SD, easy freeway access. Excellent staff. Spotless. Great grounds crew.
