I had a tow hitch installed on my SUV at Canadian Tire on Merivale/Hunt club.
I dealt with Lisa at the Auto service dept.
Prior to starting the work she indicated that the cost will be 1-1.5 hrs, based on the actual time it takes to install the hitch.
I was watching the process and it took approx 25 minutes, end-to-end.
When the vehicle was returned to me I was very surprised to find that I was charged 1.4 hrs for labor. When I brought it back to Lisa she got very aggressive and confrontational and said that they normally charge for 2hrs!
I did not agree and confronted her with the facts (i.e. it took only 25 mins).
She eventually reluctantly agreed to charge me for 1 hr labor.

Nice store, it is well organized. The staff are friendly, customer focused and very helpful. Found what I was looking for within minutes. I recommend this store and keep and eye on the sales as most of their products are marked up sometimes by 60%

The customer service at this store is exceptional. All of the staff seem happy, which translates into a great shopping experience for the consumer.

Hard not to walk of there with something. Great items on sale weekly.  If you wait whatever you're looking for will likely be on sale once a month.

Nearly always find what I am looking for here. Sometimes challenging to find in-store assistance though although when you do you will get the help you need.
