I read some pretty good reviews and was excited to try a new restaurant. I have to say I was really disappointed. I’m always down for a place that serves breakfast all day! I got the southern scatter and my husband got the big nasty, both were bland and suffered from basically zero seasoning. I did notice almost all of the salt & pepper shakers were low or empty, so either people really like their salt & pepper or they are like me and attempted to bring the dish back to life. For a bakery I was really looking forward to trying their biscuits, but they seem to be frozen. They are BEYOND dried out and almost at the point of cornbread consistency. I was hoping the gravy would bring much needed moisture to the dish, but again it was a strike out. I will say the few bits of chicken sausage in my dish were delicious and the iced tea was really good. Maybe they are a better lunch place? We will try again, but we will definitely not be ordering breakfast. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. Great decor and they have a big outdoor seating area! The ladies who were working were really nice and service was not slow!

I have been coming to Canvas for about a year now? As long as they've been open. I looooove this cafe/ restaurant! The food is amazing. My fiance and I have tried almost everything on the menu and everything we've had has been great. The Esme's Big Nasty is probably our favorite breakfast dish. It's incredible. There are also so many awesome lunch sandwiches to choose from as well. Love this cafe!

Always great food, and friendly staff. The only reason I took off one star is because the parking there is horrible. Must arrive early, or you can not get a spot, because of the small parking lot, and lack of parking.

Used to enjoy this place despite it being overpriced. Recent visits have made me less interested in going (roach in coffee cup, cashier/server obviously sick and spending a great deal of time in the bathroom, handicapped parking not ideal in comparison to the paved pathway, again overpriced). That being said, they have good food options and walkable from the hospital.

Stopped in for lunch and everything was delicious! Everyone I talked to was extremely helpful and professional. All of the windows have beautiful views of the trees and it's a very relaxing environment. My only concern was the teeny tiny parking lot, and having to chose between one of their delicious pastries and something from Doughnut Dollies downstairs!
