I’ll just make it be as detailed as usual. First time here. Came for a business meeting. The ambiance is nice had a kind of a fishery rustic Italian village vibe style. Pretty nice. The wait staff is awesome on point. Very respectful & on the ball. We came at lunchtime so the traffic there was minimal, which is great for me lol. We ordered the fried Calamari, Mozzarella cake, & side salads for our appetizers. They were all really flavorful, crisp & filling. For our main we ordered the Steak and spinach, lobster bits in escargot sauce, and salmon. We got some things to discus with the main courses. Each wasn’t to either of the 4 of our liking. Steak was a bit overcooked/burnt. The lobster bits were overly oiled with the escargot sauce & garlic butter. The salmon was a bit too salty but overall not too bad. I’d definitely give this spot another shot. My next visit I’ll further explore the menu and dabble on the pasta side. The selection looked more than appealing so. There’s a play there.
I've had a better experience regarding the food in the past at this restaurant. Tonight, I had the Chicken Picatta, and it was underwhelming. The clam chowder tasted a bit off. The service was excellent, warm, helpful, and demonstrated immediacy. The waitress made excellent drinks and kept the kids' refreshments full. They had live music and afforded one a welcoming ambiance. I hope the next time around the food is more impressive.
Great food and service. Had to knock off star because the food portions are small for the prices paid. Also their old fashioned cocktails are made with maraschino cherries and not the proper luxardo cherries. A couple of things they should take into consideration.
As much as I would want to give this place a higher rating, it's shown difficult since my most recent visit. Went there for a birthday celebration and though every one decided to get steak I figured I would get a combo mixed grill at first everything was tasting good but once I got to that chicken......it went all bad from there. To say the least I've now on my 2nd day of food poisoning with a possible 3rd in the works. The place it self looks nice and quiet but for the amount of $$$ I paid the last thing I imagined to get was food poisoning.
Not only incredible amazing food, but incredible amazing staff and ownership! You are treated like family here! Ask for Elaine. Tell her that Sam sent you! 5 stars
Great people, great service, wonderful food and bloody Marys were awesome
We had my daughter’s baby shower at Cap’s, they made it a very special day! The food amazing as always!
Wanted to stay local, but the food here was mediocre at best. Service was ok. For the price, I’d go someplace where they pay attention to quality.
I was attending a paint night when I visited this restaurant. It seemed laid back and quite in the actual dining area, though I was upstairs in the banquet room. I didn't try any food, but it smelled good. The drinks were average and a bit pricey.
Ordered Seafood Alfredo and Chef's special and when we got home, we found a dead fly drowned in the grease of the Minestroni soup that came with the order, and hair on one of the food caseroles. The whole ride home from the restaurant the bag of packaged food smelled like raw stinky fish. We called the restaurant and they offered to make the food again. However, we threw the second order of food away because it was so bad tasting and smelled and tasted like spoiled seafood. We were afraid to eat it because we didn't want to get sick. The smell was repulsive. First and last time getting food from this place. Horrible!
