Bought a car from here about a year ago so I've had time to look over the car with a fine tooth comb. I'll start by saying that I am a car guy, I'm that person in the family that reads the car magazines, does minor car stuff for friends and family, does the research and negotiations on new cars, etc.

When I first approached Car Star, it was to look at a 2008 Lexus. I called and was told it was available. When I got there, I was told it sold earlier and that the person I talked to on the phone had already gone home and wouldn't have been aware of the sale. So, I have to ding them for this since this can easily be construed as a bait and switch. It's not a huge lot, that guy should have known and/or double checked.

I made them pull a 2010 off a pedestal for me to look at instead. It was pretty dark already and I didn't get to do a thorough mechanical inspection, but the deal was fair and everybody was straightforward. I had a couple snags to work through on my end, and they worked with me to get through it, so I felt ok going ahead with the purchase anyway. They put on a little pressure trying to sell the warranty but that's expected. Otherwise, pretty smooth transaction and no complaints.

A year later, the car has been mostly fine. I will caution buyers to do their own mechanical inspections, bring it to someone you trust instead of relying on their mechanic. The salesman specifically told me it was inspected and got an oil change. I can tell you for sure that my vehicle hadn't had its oil changed in a while - the oil was much darker than the new oil I put in 500 miles later. While doing that oil change, I noticed a torn CV boot, which any competent mechanic would have been looking for and caught immediately. Minor issue for a used car, so I'm not too upset. Other than that, the car has been pretty good and it does look to have new brake pads all around. So, Car Star gets a passing grade from me.

Let me just start off by saying Andy and his crew are amazing at what they do. They made my car buying experience Flawless and extremely good. I highly recommend going to see Andy and let him do his magic for you. These guys have been in the business for many many years and it never fails every time I walk into this place. You don't get the big dealership b******* but you get quality top-notch service. I highly recommend this place 5 Stars thank you guys!!!

Review

I bought a car here 6 months ago and was originally ecstatic with my vehicle. After turning down an extended warranty several times, the finance manager convinced me it was a good idea due to all the extra features and sensors on the car (I knew the engine was solid and did not want to buy a warranty for something that would not fail).

Unfortunately, the finance manager told a complete bold faced lie to me and I made the mistake of believing him. In the past 6 months I have had half-a-dozen features break on my car (sun roof, window, tire sensors, sunlight sensors, pieces breaking from my door). I was not worried about this initially because I bought a warranty! 

Unfortunately, I took it in to get fixed and my warranty does not cover anything but the power-train (this is the complete opposite of what I was told). I am now out $1000 in repairs and have a pricey warranty that does not cover anything that I wanted it to cover.

I severely regret this purchase. If you do business here, invest in a lawyer to review your contracts it will likely save you money in the long-run.

After shopping around at a few big  dealers all over the valley,  I found that car star motors was the one I had the best experience with...The sales team is great, Their inventory is awesome! 
All the folks I met there were good people treated me very well....they have some great  looking vehicles. I would recommend this dealer to all my friends and family.
I am sure that I will be buying from them again.

"Buying luxury cars made easy" this should be the slogan of thus great dealership.
I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee from Car Star Motors and it was the best car buying experience ever. The staff were extremely professional, friendly, and patient  at the same time. They made the whole process so easy and I was out of there in no time. They have great, and competitve financing options, which really worked out for me. I recommend Car Star Motors to anyone who is in the market for a luxury car.
