Food was overall delicious. Ribs were fall off the bone. Octopus new menu item was delicious but the small pieces were a bit overcooked. Also lacking octopus overall, could be more generous with the amount given the price. We waited around 20 mins for food after ordering. Seating was spacious and comfortable. Great service - we had someone come by to learn more feedback about the octopus dish as it was a new menu item.
Very cool location with a very unique design and heritage. The food took some time to come and over all the service was a little slow but the food was good.its definitely not the best barbecue place in town but acceptable. The steak was probably the best item we tried. The burger was a generous portion but slightly dry. It's a good spot for a group as they have a lot of larger booth tables. I would go for the BBQ platter if I go there again.
We went for dinner on a Saturday, and while very busy the service was attentive and our food came quickly. The portions are very large, and we left completely stuffed. We ordered the KFC, Smoked Beef Brisket, and The Carbon Burger. Really enjoyed everything, and the meat was perfectly done. Definitely recommend, but make sure to go hungry!
This restaurant will be seeing me again! The food was amazing! The drinks were good. Couldn’t have asked for better service from my waitress Angela! The atmosphere was perfect for a date and the pricing was reasonable. Great experience!Food: 5/5
Really nice place overall as I had a very nice experience overall my first time here. Very nice set up with plenty of tables and quite spacious. The service was great and we had a reservation which I’d recommend just to avoid any issues. The cocktails were well prepared and the food overall was really good even though I was not really a fan of their Ribs that day everything else made up for it. We got a few apps which I’d highly recommend both the Shishito Peppers and Brisket Empanadas were phenomenal. We also got the $50 per person meat platter to try which was great overall other than the Ribs which were very sub par in comparison to everything else. The Brisket was awesome, pulled pork, sausage and fried chicken were great too. We also tried the Mac and Cheese which was good too. Prices are at a bit of a premium but it’s somewhat justified here. We had an awesome time and I’d definitely return again myself and would recommend people to try it too if they haven’t already
I absolutely loved this restaurant. The food took some time to arrive, but it was worth the wait! Here’s what we ordered: Beef brisket - DELICIOUS Mac and cheese - Added hot sauce! So good! Steak and frites - Very good! Corn bread the sauce that came with the cornbread was great! The cornbread itself was alright The atmosphere was fun, I loved the dim lighting! We sat in the lounge area!
We tried it for the first time and liked the ambiance. Tried burger and beef brisket and were not impressed. We had much better quality brisket for half the price. There were not many desert options and cherry cheesecake was not that great. One time trying was enough
It was a busy night and we didn't have a reservation. However, the person up front was very accommodating and was able to find us a table making our day memorable. The food was delicious. We had the Korean Fried Cauliflower KFC, Steak Frites and Smoked Beef Brisket. The house sauce with the Brisket was finger licking good. My wife really enjoyed the green peppercorn sauce with her steak. Also the KFC was so flavor full that we forgot for a minute that there was no meat in the dish. The service was on point. Our waitress was attentive and kept checking on us to ensure everything was going great. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will definitely be back.
Follow @bredgyeats for yummy food pictures! Tonight, we feast on all the american goodies Carbon Bar has to offer, including almost all of their desserts. To start, the burnt ends were a work of art, such a beautiful marbling of fatty and lean parts that has charred and crisped up that melts in your mouth, imparting a savory smoky flavour whose strong flavours are balanced out with a tangy mayo sauce, lime, kimchi, all wrapped up in boston leaf lettuce. The gochujang fried cauliflower was also an addicting snack of sweet and savory as we waited for the main character of the night. The pitmaster platter is an indulgent selection of all of their classics: pulled pork, baby back ribs, cheddar jalapeno susage, fries, brisket, buttermilk fried chicken, pickles and their trio of sauces. My favourites were the chicken and brisket. The buttermilk batter was crisp and comforting, contrasting the tender and juicy chicken thigh on the inside. The brisket has a distinct smoke ring, and you won't be surprised when that charred, savory flavour explodes in your mouth as the fat melts in your tongue. Perfect with their sweet bbq sauce. Unlocking my second stomach is always easier with a grand selection of sweets. Thanks to @rurubaked, I'm now addicted to Banoffee pie, so I couldn't wait to dig into this. The soft bourbon toffee has a hefty caramel aroma and sticky texture, that's contrasted with a graham cracker crust and caramelized bananas laid on top. The chantilly cream mellows out the powerful sweetness of the caramel
The food was overall good, but the smoke brisket was a bit dry so it wasn't that great. The sauce comes with the brisket was also too much on the sour side which I personally didn't prefer, especially when this dish already came with pickles. The smoked pork rib was really tasty and had a better texture.Food: 3/5
